"I have to tell her the truth about everything. But I'm getting there." He smirked and turned to look at his daughter. "Hey, Dina?"
"Yes, daddy?" Dina looked up from the phone.
"Do you want to tell Nadia about why you like superheros?"
The little girl's face broke out into a grin. "Because superheros help people. They don't like it when bad people hurt other people, so superheroes help the other people."
"And why do they have their costumes?"
"Because they can't let other people know they are superheroes. If the other people knew, they may be afraid of them because they were different. Even if they are trying to be good and help them."
Stiles grinned. "So if you became friends with a superhero, would you tell people about them?"
Dina shook her head quickly. "No! If I told people, then I would put them in danger of the bad people finding them and hurting them. You NEVER tell other people who the superheroes really are."
"That's my girl." He looked back at Nadia, grinning. "I'm working with what I have and going from there."
