Chuck turned back, going to check the noises from the men only to end up putting himself in the path of a very angry female mate as Derek took out the last of the other hunters, leaving Ray standing alone with a gun raised up and aimed at Talia.
"Don't even think of it, boy," Thomas said, his rifle trained back on him. "You've lost this battle."
"I take her out, others will come and finish the job." He got his sights.
"Ray."
The man turned, and Stiles stood there, only a few feet away as he came out from behind his jeep with a handgun aimed. "You don't threaten my family," he said, and fired one shot. The bullet snapped Ray's head back, and the man went down. Stiles didn't lower the gun though, his arm extended and his face a blank slate devoid of emotion.
